¡Hola! soy Juanma Docampo, artista de lettering y diseñador visual con base en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Trabajo principalmente con proyectos culturales y teatrales, creando identidades visuales y universos gráficos donde el lettering no es solo un recurso estético, sino un lenguaje narrativo. Me interesa que las letras cuenten algo, que dialoguen con el contenido y acompañen la experiencia de quien mira antes, durante y después de una obra.
Además del ámbito cultural, colaboro con emprendedores y pequeños negocios que buscan crear o redefinir su marca desde un lugar más humano, sensible y honesto. Proyectos que necesitan identidad, claridad y una voz propia, más que fórmulas prefabricadas.
Mi forma de trabajar combina pensamiento estratégico, exploración conceptual y un proceso artesanal, donde cada decisión visual tiene un porqué. Vengo del cruce entre diseño, teatro y actuación, y eso atraviesa mi manera de entender el diseño como una herramienta expresiva, emocional y situada en un contexto real.
Creo en los procesos hechos con tiempo, diálogo y criterio. En construir marcas e identidades que no solo se vean bien, sino que tengan sentido y perduren.

Hi! I’m Juanma Docampo, a lettering artist and visual designer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I mainly work with cultural and theatre projects, creating visual identities and graphic worlds where lettering goes beyond decoration and becomes a narrative tool. I’m interested in letters that communicate emotion, context and meaning, and that connect visually with the story being told.

My approach combines strategic thinking, conceptual exploration and a hands-on process, where every visual decision has a clear intention. My background at the intersection of design, theatre and acting strongly shapes how I understand design as an expressive and emotional language.
