Bajo la premisa de crear un proyecto editorial relacionado con la cultura argentina, ¡Merde! nace para cubrir el ámbito teatral de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, desde los espectáculos comerciales al circuito de teatro independiente. Con una estética joven y dinámica, y una paleta cromática de alto contraste, representa todo el espectro de emociones y sensaciones que se viven arriba del escenario, en busca de transmitirlas a su público para que formen parte de ellas.

Esa cábala que se mantiene por décadas cada vez que hay que salir al escenario. Nunca esa otra palabra prohibida que empieza con «suer» y termina con «te». Eso sí, hay que contrarrestar un poco tanta superstición, así que decidimos que todo se base en este hermoso tono amarillo (a pesar de tanta recomendación sobre no usar este color sobre el escenario).
¡Merde! es una revista que busca representar al ambiente del teatro, a través de su contraste de emociones, de situaciones y experiencias de vida. Además, como no sólo se trata de dramas y tragedias, se cubren tanto eventos de música, danza y circo, como así también talleres y espectáculos gratuitas. Incluso hasta los monólogos ahora llamados stand-up.

Mierda (shit in Spanish), as well as its translation in French 'merde', is a word commonly used in argentinian theatre to wish 'good luck'. It is similar in meaning to the expression 'break a leg'.
So, Merde.
That word that has been said for decades whenever you have to go on stage... always avoiding saying 'good' and 'luck', and most of all avoiding saying them together. Preferring to counter attack against all kinds of superstition, we decided that everything would be based on this beautiful yellow tone despite the constant recommendation to avoid the use of this color on stage).
¡Merde! is a magazine that seeks to represent theatre's atmosphere through its contrast of emotions, situations and life experiences. It's not only dramas and tragedies, but music, dance and circus events, as well as workshops and free performances, and they are all covered in the magazine. Even monologues, now frequently called stand-up.
